An Amazing Tiny House That Maximizes Both Function and Style

An Amazing Tiny House That Maximizes Both Function and Style

Here's a tiny house that proves that there’s really no limits to how far a tiny house can be trecked. This tiny house owned by Shelly and Shawn from California was moved all the way to Maui in Hawaii to show that there really is no journey too big for a tiny house. The home was built by Tiny Heirloom, a company that builds luxury custom tiny houses. The couple had purchased a small plot of land on the island, and instead of building a large home on the land they chose to go with a small home instead. So the Tiny Heirloom team got to work on building their tiny house in Portland, Oregon and then shipped it out to Hawaii when it was all done to be pieced back together on their piece of land.

The impressive tiny house includes a full-size chef’s kitchen with a 19-foot quartz countertop and a huge double door fridge, two bedrooms, and a comfortable living room. By tiny house standards, this home is actually not all that small, but the windows sure help to open up the interior space even more. Plus, the bay feature added to the build in the kitchen area creates just that little bit of extra space needed to create the dream kitchen. Beyond the many windows, there are also two skylights and two sliding glass doors to let in even more light and a solar panel array for energy efficiency.

The kitchen also includes so much storage space and workspace, but it's still nice and compact making for ease and flow while cooking a meal. There is even a full sized stainless steel gas range and oven in the kitchen which would work beautifully for cooking. Above the kitchen, you'll see one of the sleeping lofts equipped with a retractable staircase that easily folds away when it's not needed. The home is 400 square feet in total which means they get to have a large living room that can fit a large sectional couch, a fireplace and TV. The double doors in the living room area lead out to a deck, and the huge picture window offers up great views of the Hawaiian landscape.

The loft is 75 square feet with a full-size bed and three windows that overlook the main living space. There is also another loft area on the other side of the house that would be more appropriate for storage space and is accessed by a ladder. Underneath the second loft is the bathroom and a ground floor bedroom which is always nice to have for the main bedroom. The bathroom has a recirculating shower head and beautiful tile work throughout with yet another skylight above and a window that's right in the shower. Perfect for looking out to watch the sunset or sunrise while taking a shower. This tiny house is one of the more luxurious styles of home that you'll find, and it shows just what is possible with small house design.
