Have the most relaxing stay in your own private log cabin on Pender Island. Or maybe you're looking to build a log cabin of your own and need ideas for your design. These log cabins can also give you some good design inspiration when you're in the planning stages of building your own log cabin. These cabins provide the perfect place to relax including fireplaces and warm blankets to say nice and cozy. They also include all of the nice fresh white linens and a French press with pre-ground Fernwood Coffee beans from Vancouver Island. You can also use the BBQ, an outdoor propane firepit, some comfy outdoor chairs and a double hammock. Currently, they require a 3-night minimum stay from May to September, and a 2-night minimum stays from October to April. The first rustic cabin includes a private hot tub as well which is the perfect way to relax and unwind. This is one of the cabins that's open year round making it the perfect escape from busy life. There's also a cute porch swing on the deck of the cabin. The rustic cabins all offer rustic charm with modern amenities on Pender Island off the coast of British Columbia. This one is perfect for a family of four since there is a queen bed and a double futon. In the kitchenette, there is a microwave, a toaster oven and a mini fridge to keep food fresh. It's nice that the BBQ and fire pit are both propane powered so you can even use them in the case of a fire ban.
The cabin also has a LED Smart TV with Blu-Ray DVD Player, a Marshall Stereo and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The nice gambrel style roof on this log cabin provides lots of space within the cabin making it feel larger than it actually is. The floor plan is nice and open with the queen bed in the back and the living room in the front with the futon and the fireplace. The kitchen and dining area are also in the front nice and close to the living room. Then the bathroom is tucked right behind the kitchen close to the bed. The other two cabins are just the same as the first one, and the last one is getting a hot tub soon too. They also have a Glamping Tent that's available from May to September, so at that time of year, the third cabin has an extra queen bed. All of the cabins have rustic style with modern finishings making them a great place for those who want something that's a step up from camping in a tent. Much warmer and cozier to sleep in a bed in a warm cabin than to stay in a tent or a trailer.
The Woods on Pender also offers Airstream rentals as well which is great for those who want a vintage experience of the classic steel campers. Most of the Airstreams are fairly new, but it still has the vintage charm of the old ones. There are a couple of older ones too if people want the true vintage experience. They also have a newer Shasta Airflyte trailer to stay in as well as a motel with a pool, so they really have something for everyone. All placed on 7.3 acres of tranquil forested land that used to be home to the Inn on Pender Island and Memories Restaurant. The island is easily accessible from the mainland of BC via ferries that run throughout the day at different times — creating a wonderful getaway to disconnect from your busy life.
