Modern Dwellings True STUDIO is designed and constructed from utilizing a steel shipping container as the shell for the base structure. The tiny house design uses a cargo-worthy steel shipping container as the shell; then they implement the engineered design with a smart layout to transform the cargo shipping container into a tiny modern dwelling. Modern Dwelling uses old growth Douglas Fir building materials from Columbia Riverwood for the countertops, doors, windows, paneling and flooring. This reclaimed wood is salvaged directly from the Columbia River itself and is FSC certified.

The True STUDIO tiny house design was created to offer a complete modern dwelling to fit a variety of needs. The tiny prefab home has everything already included in the design to even include the bed. They've taken care of all of the design details, which takes the guesswork out of small house living. Each True STUDIO design is built with quality, sustainable building materials, appliances, and finishes to help create a modern, clean, timeless look. The Tiny Studio has one bedroom and one bathroom with 160 square feet of space and prices starting at $55,000. If you need some extra space, you can use the Tiny Studio you can use it as an accessory dwelling unit as a guest house, rental, mother in law suite, full time living, part time living and more.

This 160 square foot space include the hardwood flooring, custom wood doors and windows, insulated to R21, wooden butcher block countertops, and shelving, dimmable lighting, USB outlets, a covered porch with entrance, and metal exterior facade. Some of the standard kitchen features include the faucet and sink, two top electric burner stove and hood, lower mini refrigerator, custom wood cabinets and shelving and kitchen fan. The True Studio includes a mattress, mini-split Heating and air conditioning. Some of the optional upgrades you might consider for your tiny house design include a TESLA Powerwall Systems, Goal Zero Battery and Solar System, incinerating toilet, Smart Home Technology Systems, Radiant Floor Heating, Outdoor Shower and off-grid system. Other optional upgrades include rainwater collection, upper deck railing and spiral stairs, off-grid propane appliances, acrylic bathtub, and remote controlled shades.
