Prefab park model houses are usually built for you in a controlled environment which assures you of their quality. A park model can often be a good choice for those who are downsizing or considering a vacation cabin. With park model homes you don't have to go through the construction process since the homes are delivered complete to any location.
This particular park model home features two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and an open-plan living area. The trailer is 14-feet wide and the home has wooden finishes on both the exterior and interior. The wooden panelling continues in the bathroom which makes it feel somewhat like a sauna.
Park models provide a convenient prefab option for people wanting to build their own home or cabin to use seasonally. It's a good idea to check with local bylaws and codes when it comes to placing a park model, and check if you can indeed live in it permanently. Park model homeowners will also have to check in with the park they want to set their home up in as there are different requirements for every area. Some park models can only be of a certain size or colour, and sometimes additions like an enclosed porch are not prohibited. Overall, park models are a fabulous choice for affordable housing.
